SOI utilizes a highly encrypted secure connection so your company and employee information always remains safe and protected.
Flexible System Access Control
The SOI Portal offers a range of functions within each application dependent on a user’s access rights. These rights are determined by you- simply assign an administrator to control and dictate a user’s access rights upon login.
Multiple levels of authority and accessibility are available within our client’s administration settings based upon the roles and responsibilities of key personnel. Having the ability to permit or restrict employee access rights and privileges lets your administrator determine the processes and information each internal user is able to access; from extensive user rights with visibility to sensitive data through to restricted visibility with minimal non-sensitive data availability.
Your internally assigned administrator is also in complete control of the available services delivered to your company. Select one or more individual applications that best fit your business processes.
Time Clock Compatible
The SOI Portal seamlessly integrates with SOI’s Time and Attendance time maintenance system. It is also compatible with most common commercially available payroll time and attendance recording and maintenance software systems.
Employee Resources And Commonly Used Forms
The SOI Portal offers a wide range of useful information at the touch of a button via the Employee Resources section which may be used to access benefit and other SOI Service Partner-Provider information.
The Employee Resources option includes medical and dental provider contacts with interactive account websites. Select the Forms menu to access all of SOI’s most commonly used online employee forms in PDF format for easy storage and/ or printing.
Reporting
Among the most essential tools available from The SOI Portal; the reporting tool is available on-demand to generate instant payroll, employee-related and Human Resources reports. These reports may be customized and exported in various formats including Excel and HTML.
The Reports menu offers continuous access to detailed job-costing reports, employee registers and summaries which are displayed in a selection of formats. For example, to view a report of current employees by department simply select a costing report. SOI’s Reporting tool will display the information instantly, ready for output in the format of your choice.
Human Resources Services
The SOI Portal features a wide variety of Human Resources services links designed to simplify and enrich the lives of your employees covering a full range of legal, legislative, and regulatory information via our BNA database.

Adding New Employees
The SOI Portal allows authorized users to add, update and manage employee data at all stages in the employment cycle. The process is simple, secure, and reduces the time and paperwork involved with normal paper-based payroll and benefits form completion.
When new employees are hired, your internal administrator may complete the new hire forms online to instantly register essential employee information necessary to ensure governmental compliance.
Maintaining Employee Information
When employees become active within the SOI system, their witholding rates, deductions and personal data are available to authorized users via the Employee Maintenance application. This feature allows authorized users to view current employee data and modify specific rates and employee deductions. In most cases data changes are stored within the application in a History archive so data management is fully traceable.
We are continuously enhancing our services too. Coming soon, the Employee Maintenance application may also be used to add and monitor employee terminations and address changes.

System training is available via a variety of methods for your convenience. We bring the training to you.
